- Steps for installing the Improv for Windows 2.1 Update:

- BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
-
- The Improv for Windows 2.1 Update installation requires the original Improv
- for Windows 2.0 diskettes.
-
- If a customer has a lost or damaged set of Improv 2.0 diskettes, a set of
- replacement disks must be obtained from Lotus Customer Service at 1-800-343-
- 5414. Only registered Improv 2.0 customers will be provided with a set of
- replacement disks.

- INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

- The steps for installing the Improv for Windows 2.1 Update are as follows:

- 1. Insert the disk labeled Update Disk A in drive A (or B).
- 2. Select File Run from the Windows Program Manager.
- 3. In the Command Line, type A:INSTALL (or B:INSTALL) and select OK.
- 4. At the "Welcome to Install" screen, select OK.
- 5. At the Main Menu, select the appropriate type of installation. The
- options are "Install Improv" or "Install Improv on a Server."
- 6. Select the appropriate drive and directory for installing Improv, and
- select OK.
- 7. When the files from the Update Disk A have been transferred, the Install
- program will prompt for Update Disk B. Insert Update Disk B, and select OK.
- 8. When the files from Update Disk B have been transferred, the Install
- program will prompt for the Improv for Windows 2.0 disk labeled Disk 1.
- Insert Disk 1 in the drive, and select OK.
- 9. Continue to insert the appropriate disks as prompted. Once the all the
- files are transferred from Disk 4, the installation of the Improv for Windows
- 2.1 Update is complete.
